Tata Motors has officially introduced the 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift in the Indian market, marking the first major update to the electric SUV since its debut in 2023. The updated model arrives with subtle yet noticeable design changes, new feature additions, revised mechanical components, and an expanded battery lineup aimed at improving overall usability and appeal. The electric SUV is offered in five variants — Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus S — catering to a wide range of buyers.rnrnUnder the hood, the 2026 Punch EV now comes with two battery pack options: a 30 kWh unit and a larger 40 kWh pack. The 40 kWh battery delivers an impressive ARAI-certified range of 468 km on a single charge, while offering a C75 real-world driving range of 355 km. Charging performance has also improved, as the SUV supports 65 kW DC fast charging. This enables the battery to charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes, and it can add up to 135 km of driving range in approximately 15 minutes — making it more convenient for daily commutes and occasional long drives.rnrnDesign updates are most evident at the front.
